Privacy and your data

Pantry keeps only what it needs to order for you, shows it to no one who doesn’t need it, and deletes your account’s data when the last person leaves.

Your voice

A voice note is turned into text on Pantry’s own server, and the recording is deleted straight after. It’s never sent anywhere else.

Who sees what

WhoWhat they see, and why
TelegramYour messages to and from Pantry, as with any chat.
Anthropic (Claude)The text of each message, typed or transcribed, with your item names and what’s in the basket, so Claude can work out what you asked for. Not your recording, number, address or Zepto login.
ZeptoYour orders and address, as when you order in the app.
The Pantry teamThe admin approves who can join, and sees each new person’s name and Telegram username to do so. The team runs the server Pantry’s data lives on. Pantry’s logs record what happened (an order placed, its total), never what you said.

In a family group, Pantry may read every text message so it can spot orders, depending on how it’s set up on Telegram; that text goes to Claude too.
