Join and connect

Three things to do once: get in, connect your Zepto account, and say your first order. It takes about a minute.

What you need

Get in

Pantry is invite-only for now. There are two ways in.

With an invite link from family

Open the link. You join their account straight away and can order at once, from their Zepto account and within their limits. There’s nothing to connect: skip to your first order.

On your own

  1. Open @pantry_butler_bot on Telegram and send any message.
  2. Pantry tells you it has asked to let you in. You don’t need to do anything else.
  3. When you’re approved, Pantry messages you: 🎉 You’re in!

Connect your Zepto account

Send /setup, or tap 🛒 Connect my shop account, in your private chat with Pantry. It asks three things:

  1. Your phone number. Tap 📱 Share my phone number, or type the 10 digits you use for Zepto.
  2. The login code Zepto texts you. Send it within 5 minutes.
  3. Where orders should go. Pantry lists the addresses saved in your Zepto app; tap one.

Pantry deletes your number and the code from the chat as soon as it has read them, and shows back only the end of your number. Zepto’s sign-in uses no password, so there’s none to share.

When it’s done, Pantry tells you where orders will go, how they’re paid and your daily limit. Send /cancel at any point to stop; nothing changes.

Say your first order

Send a voice note or type what you need:

The first time you ask for something, Pantry shows options from Zepto with photos, sizes and prices. Tap the one you want; next time, it goes straight in. See Choose your products.

Your items wait in the basket until they reach the smallest order (₹100 to start). Then Pantry waits 3 minutes for anything else, and orders.
