Festival calendar

Every festival, and how your TV celebrates it.

Aangan carries the main Indian festivals and national days, with a countdown before each and a scene on the day. This page is generated from the same calendar the app uses.

The scenes

Each is drawn in code, frame by frame, so the app stays small. It plays an opening, keeps moving gently while the home screen is showing, and rests when you open an app.
